Diagnosed with head and neck cancer at sixteen. Chemotherapy and intensive radiation in the early 2000s. The treatment saved her life — and introduced her to a payment plan she did not know she was signing: long-term health consequences she is still navigating today.
Endometriosis. Crohn's disease. Hysterectomy at thirty. Chronic pain. A stroke in 2021 from an undiagnosed PFO. PFO repair. A feeding tube. A secondary autoimmune condition. Disabled — and still in motion.
She has functioned as a patient advocate throughout her adult life and helps clients navigate healthcare and therapy systems as part of her coaching work — not as a medical provider, but as someone who learned the map by walking it.
Graduated high school as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Worked in home health and long-term care. Earned a degree in Surgical Assistance. Spent nearly a decade in trauma surgery, head and neck surgery, pediatric surgery, emergency surgery, ENT and OMFS.
Both sides of the hospital bed — as the person delivering care and the person fighting to receive it. That is lived experience — and it shapes how I show up in this work.
Living in Rhythm was built from necessity — from learning, through everything above, how to come back to herself. The practice is grounded in trauma-informed coaching, ongoing study in naturopathy and Eastern medicine (without claiming traditions that aren't mine to teach), spiritual life coaching, life purpose coaching, and Harvard-certified mental health frameworks.
